Bruntwood Lodge's Cancellation Policy , Cleaning/Tax services and Damages

As your reservation secures your room/s (or the whole lodge) at Bruntwood Lodge, any cancellation by you within a time-frame that is unable to be re-sold, means a loss of revenue for the Lodge owner. We may have already turned other guests away due to your booking of the room/s (or lodge). The following cancellation policy applies.
If a credit card was used as payment of the deposit the refund will be made to this card. Any other form of deposit payment the refund will be by cheque or online-transfer. 
This cancellation policy is strictly enforced.
If notice of cancellation is received on or before 14 days prior to the commencement of your stay, you will receive a full refund.
If the cancellation occurs within that 14-days-prior-period, and we are able to re-sell your reservation, you will receive a full refund. 

If we are unable to re-sell your booking the following applies:

  • If cancellation is received between 11-14 days prior to the first night’s accommodation 50% of the funds will be forfeited, with the balance will be deposited back onto the credit card  or bank account transferred.
  • If cancellation is received between 6-10 days prior to the first night’s accommodation, 100% of the funds will be forfeited, with the balance will be deposited back onto the credit card  or bank account supplied.
  • If cancellation is received between 1-5 days prior to the first night’s accommodation then the cost of the whole of accommodation will be forfeited.
  • Please note the credit card charges occurred are non-refundable.

At all times we will endeavour to re-book cancelled accommodation.
